Camera app for trades · iOS & Android

Work photos go to work.

KKamera uploads every job photo and video straight to the business cloud you already use: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, your NAS or your own server. Your camera roll stays for your family.

  • No credit card for the trial
  • $30 a year after that
  • Australian-owned

The problem

Where do your job photos end up?

On most phones, a photo of a switchboard sits next to your kids' birthday. It syncs to your personal cloud, and it leaves with you when you change jobs or phones.

With the built-in camera
  • Work shots mixed into your personal camera roll
  • Backed up to your personal account, not the business
  • Sent to the office by text, email or not at all
  • Show someone a family photo and scroll past a client's bathroom
With KKamera
  • Uploads to the business cloud you choose, into a /KKamera folder you can rename
  • Send each shot to one account or to several at once
  • The phone copy is deleted after upload by default
  • Turn off Save to Photos and work shots never reach your camera roll
What you get

A site camera that files its own photos

Every feature here is in the app today.

Your cloud, not ours

KKamera doesn't keep your photos. They go to Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, or to a Synology NAS, Nextcloud, any WebDAV server or FTP.

Storage options

Made for site photos

Spirit level with a haptic tick, grid overlays and a document scanner. It can stamp the date, time, address and compass bearing onto each photo.

Evidence features

Works without signal

Shoot in a basement or a paddock. Shots wait in a queue and upload when you're back on Wi-Fi or mobile data. Retry anything that failed from History.

Upload queue

Locked down

Lock the app with Face ID, a fingerprint or a PIN. Turn on two-factor sign-in. Panic Wipe disconnects every cloud and signs you out in one tap.

Security
How it works

Set it up once. Then just shoot.

  1. Connect your cloud

Sign in to Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox, or enter your server's details. Pick the folder uploads land in.

  2. Take the photo

Use KKamera instead of the built-in camera. Photo, video, panorama, document scan or interval shots.

  3. It's filed

The shot uploads straight away, or queues until you have a connection. A badge on screen confirms where it went.
